Week of November 1 - 5, 2021
Last week was full of excitement in First Grade! The class filled their classroom bucket for the month of October. To celebrate the great work they have been doing, the class' reward was being able to bring in a blanket and a stuffed animal. The students enjoyed building "desk forts" with their blankets and reading under their desks to their stuffed animals!
The students are so proud of themselves for all of their hard work. They had a great time during their class celebration!
Friday was HCA's Mission Party. First Grade had been waiting for this day to arrive since the beginning of October! The students looked fabulous in their costumes! The day was filled with activities, treats, and fun.
The class started their activities in the gym getting to rotate through Mrs. Mossor's amazing set up. The kids were very happy to get to move through all of her stations one last time. For more pictures of all of Mrs. Mossor's Halloween themed stations, check out her blog!
Next, we moved on to the fantastic centers set up in the MPR. The kids had a hard time deciding which center to move on to when they finished with another. There was so much to do! The students were thoroughly entertained and stayed busy! They were very disappointed when it was time for them to leave.
A big thank you to the parents who helped to organize and arrange such a wonderful day for the children! It was fabulous!

*As of November 1st, students should be wearing their winter uniforms. If you have any questions about uniform pieces, please refer to the Family Handbook.
*Please make sure your child has at least one extra mask in his/her locker or backpack every day.
*To honor our veterans, Student Council is selling American flags.
